Saturday 26th
Travelled to the Jungfrau by train where we spent 3½ hours at 11,333 feet and then travelled back down to Eigerletscher station and then walked along the Eiger Trail down to Alpiglen
Sunday 27th
A free day for the Explorer Scouts.
In groups, they planned what they would like to do.
Some went to Spiez and Thun, others went to the Niederhorn and hired scooters for a trip down the mountain road.
Monday 28th
We all travelled to Bern, visited the bears in the bear pit. The Explorers then had free time exploring Bern and its shops.
Tuesday 29th
The Explorers and Leaders enjoyed a meal in a restaurant and a wander round Thun before returning home by coach via Calais, arriving back in Haslemere at 9.45 on Wednesday 30th
